Howdy! I was born and raised in San Antonio and quickly decided that Austin would be my home. I went to the University of Texas and studied Government. (yes, I actually use it!) Why not a photo degree you ask? I was terrified to make photography my career. I thought I would grow to hate it and I didn’t want to be a photo journalist.
It turns out I am able to practice both of my passions: I satisfy my love of politics by working around Texas state and local government and I take photos of beautiful people when I am not in the halls of our government buildings.
Fun facts about me: I love to cook. Wine is my favorite adult beverage with the Martinez as a strong second. I can’t live without my iced tea. I am obsessed with civil discourse and the Texas Longhorns are my jam!
I have a super supportive husband as well as a loving family, great circle of friends and six Labrador retrievers. We cook, we travel and we love wine! I never run out of zest for life.
